Developed and updated the Market, Business Development and Competitive Analysis sections in the Annual Hospital Wide Business Plan. • Coordinated and facilitated annual hospital strategic long range planning retreats which entailed new product line development, market growth initiatives and enhancement of hospital services. • Initiated and pursued, as part of senior management leadership team, cultural change to a customer service and values driven organization that posted a 1.5% gain in market share despite entrance of two new competitors. • Negotiated and closed four key local managed care and commercial insurance contracts. Achieved a 33% revenue growth in commercial insurance and managed care admissions. • Exceeded prior year’s incentive compensation plan by meeting or exceeding annual hospital goals for three consecutive years. • Chaired two Joint Commission Accreditation of Hospital Organization teams: Patient Rights and Continuum of Care which the hospital achieved a score of 95 in March 2001 survey. • Developed and implemented a utilization management program for the facility. Educated physicians on improved utilization management processes which effectively decreased patient length of stay by 6 days within one-year of implementation. • Effected quarter over quarter improvement in hospital wide patient satisfaction scores.
