Daily Duties at City Of San Antonio:
Manage installation, PC service, documentation, and technical support for PC hardware/ Microsoft software to City staff, contractors, and vendors. Maintain hardware and software updates Citywide and research Microsoft website for new technology. HP Openview Network Node Manager, Angry IP Scanner, Filezilla, CuteFTP. Network remote tools used VNC, Gencontrol and Smsremote. Troubleshoot networking issues, Network ports, and IP conflicts, wiring issues and had training on fiber optic cable repair. Maintain and update hardware/ Microsoft software for existing equipment. Perform and assist with special projects as assigned. Environment: Microsoft Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS, MS Outlook, Nortel and Cisco Network. Program and maintain logon scripts and update websites as needed.
