Spearheaded grant writing and grants / program administration for all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) tuberculosis prevention initiatives in New York City. Designed, coordinated and administered programs, including direct care, screening and clinical trial projects. Managed multimillion- dollar budget. Deployed HIV-Related TB Prevention Program, which was CDC funded. Recruited, trained and managed staff. Conducted community outreach and liaised with various agencies and health care entities, including hospitals and the state health department. Successfully decreased incidence of TB among high risk individuals by increasing awareness of prevention protocols.
