Daily Duties at Genovision :
• Optimized a haplotype research project, HaploPrep for the HLA-A, B, C, & DRB loci • Performed basic to in-depth research of HLA-B haplotyping for the development of the HaploPrep product • Worked with various brands of HLA typing kits including the Olerup SSP products • Analyzed PCR products with gel electrophoresis and SSO (InnoLipa HLA) in automated and manual protocols • Examined probe and primer sequences for HLA-B compatibility on a variety of sequence database programs • Operated and optimized robotics including the Qiagen EZ1 and Biorobot M48 for DNA isolation and molecular protocols • Prepared reagents and performed quality control for HaploPrep
