Daily Duties at Riverpark Bible Church:

Served on the Office of Executive Pastor (primary leadership group) team along with the other associate pastor and the senior pastor. Also served on the Council of Elders. Responsibilities included overseeing church administration, adult ministries, adult education, pastoral counseling and facilities. Managed approximately $1M of overall budget; supervised five direct reports and 17 lay volunteer direct reports. • Directed the 2001 stewardship campaign that succeeded in meeting campaign goal. • Served as construction liaison for Riverpark’s new Family Center addition; brought project in under budget. Also served as construction liaison in providing oversight for the church’s new 20,000 sq. ft. sanctuary. • Implemented a teaching program and fellowship opportunities that resulted in a Sunday morning participation level of 48% (national average is 25%). • Collaborated with church’s ministry planning team in launching an active men’s program that went from a handful of men involved to more than 300. • Instituted the use of “Strategic Planning 1 year to 5 year” by all ministry, administrative and facilities pastors, directors and managers to improve budget and overall financial management. • Spearheaded the purchase and installation of a server to better support the church’s information management needs. Also oversaw the personalization of the office’s computers to meet needs for increased productivity and greater computing capacity. • Collaborated with administrative team in overseeing the installation of new accounting software and implementation of related procedures to streamline and improve the effectiveness of the church’s financial operations.
