Managed logistics for all local operations in conjunction with the local Air Force base transition office, as well as private and corporate relocation requirements, for a moving and relocation services company. Company provided local, state, national and international service through 25 local employees and contractors and drivers located throughout the US. Managed 36 direct reports. Forecast quarterly budgets for operational and employment costs. Ensured compliance with OSHA and ISO 9000. Accomplishments: • Implemented new software solutions for logistics, inventory tracking, and customer service validation to update supply chain operations. • Won a three year government domestic procurement contract and other large local corporate accounts. • Division exceeded forecast earnings for three consecutive quarters. • Trained employees in ISO 9000 and OSHA standards, operational procedures, and pertinent military regulations. Assisted 15 employees in obtaining Class-A certifications. • Secured Allied Van Lines authorization for international shipping certification.
