Daily Duties at Avid:
Recruited to implement broadcast engineering and operations experience in managing a range of hardware and software installation, IT network facilities, and systems support projects, for the manufacturers of digital audio, video and automation hardware and software (6,000 employees world-wide; annual sales of $500M to $800M). Accomplishments: • Managed and personally installed several government-contracted projects for The White House, The US State Department and the Armed Forces Network Radio Television Services, including installations at US and international bases. Awarded additional contracts at the Pentagon and the Federal Judicial Center based on successful with initial projects. • Suggested a cross-network platform of unifying software and managing projects for all divisions of the company, allowing the sharing and viewing of meta-data by any manager in any office, worldwide. • Conducted training classes for support personal on various broadcasting techniques and the implementation of older software. • Managed a staff of 12 international field engineers for remote installations and deployment.
