Daily Duties at Cent Val Automatic:
Oversaw all operational aspects including purchasing, equipment rotation and repair, inventory control, loss prevention, vendor relations, and sales staff coaching and supervision. Directly involved in maintaining and building large and national account sales. Managed three direct reports (shop/route manager, office manager and sales manager) and a budget of approximately $850K per year. • Prepared a business plan and assembled a team that resulted in securing an SBA loan to finance the bulk of the Fresno/Bakersfield operations from Automatic Merchandising Company and successfully launch Cent-Val Automatic. • Continued and enhanced programs and procedures that were instituted by Automatic Merchandising Company after purchasing the Fresno/Bakersfield division. • Researched and introduced computerization to the company’s operations to streamline repair call processing and to more efficiently identify chronic equipment breakdowns. • Spearheaded the implementation of a computer program to track sales and inventory and to prepare sales tax and commission reports.
