Daily Duties at Us Navy:

• Performed role as the Data Coordinator and Assessment Director by ensuring that all facets of data collection run smoothly and without error utilizing Microsoft Access Database management software. Rewrote database creation procedures to reduce the creation time from 16 hours to 2 hours • Became Engineering Departments resident expert on database creation for use with the Fleet’s FAST database management tool. • Coordinated data entry personnel and LAN equipment in a US Navy ship environment to ensure data collected is timely and accurate and created reports for the Captain of the ship on a daily basis. The data collected is used by the Navy for ship’s operational status and combat capability before deployment to warfare areas. • Aquired access to the Navy’s Configuration Data Manager Database site to download Ship Configuration data to be incorporated into Microsoft Access Databases. • Created a training program and conducted instructional courses for all Divisions within the Air Dominance Department, and provided documentation for the impending rollout of the new Air Dominance Information Management System (ADIMS) Software based on the Remedy Database Software utilizing Microsoft Access database software. • A prime player in the Commanding Officer's (CO's) Readiness Review board, preparing the Commanding Officer’s weekly read board during Operation Enduring Freedom. Created custom database reports for the Commanding Officer. Also created detailed reports documenting specific combat system element issues as tasked by the Commanding Officer. The position fulfilled in the Fleet Customer Support Office is a key position requiring not only combat system expertise, but also an excellent knowledge of department engineering and logistics processes. • As the Command Career Counselor, was responsible for counseling and maintaining records of approximately 80 command military personnel in their career options to ensure their success in the Navy. Was the prime interface between the Navy's Bureau of Naval Personnel and command personnel Accomplished Combat System Coordinator watchstander. Stood the CSC watch for two years aboard USS MILIUS and two deployments. Actively trained personnel in the watch standing duties of the CSC. Monitored and coordinated doctrine input to the Aegis Combat System. Member of Combat Systems Technical Team Trainer. Responsible for training combat systems personnel in operating and maintaining installed equipment, and for supervising combat systems related exercises. As Chief Petty Officer, Time and Resource management of a division of 30 personnel, writing evaluations and work schedules ensuring smooth operation of the AEGIS Weapon System. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the AEGIS Weapon System onboard USS MILIUS.
