· Designed, implemented, maintained, and coordinated major systems and procedures projects for current and planned systems. · Simplified Engineering Records process: reducing process cycle time by 60% and the associated burden rate by 30%. · Coordinated the design of a system enhancement to utilize alternate parts inventory: resulting in an inventory reduction as well as waste and loss reduction. · Improved the `Rotating Inventory Control' process to functionally demonstrate compliance with DOD contracts and IBM corporate procedures. · Administrated Data Base Security for Operations and Manufacturing Systems. · Developed procedures to better manage development activities. The minimum content requirements were defined to obtain concurrence from supporting organizations. · Assisted in the performance of internal audits against corporate security procedure requirements. · SAS Specific (all work at this time was performed on MVS/TSO). SAS was used to compare Bills Of Materials against Purchase Orders to identify anomalies that may warrant further investigation. · SAS was used to analyze security access to reduce the possibility of wrongful purchases. · SAS was used to determine the accuracy and provide correction of hourly charges against Government (Department of Defense) contracts. · SAS was the tool used to verify accuracy of substitution parts usage, as it was defined for a major system enhancement. · SAS was used to generate security status reports with automatic addressing to appropriate management
