Daily Duties at Altius Communications:
A distributor and integrator of microwave radio equipment. Altius specializes in licensed and unlicensed point-to point, and point to multi-point equipment across all available frequencies, while finding a solution that best serves the customers needs and interests. By carrying over 30 manufacturers, learning on the job was an everyday task. Comprehension of base stations, CPE’s, nLOS, NLOS, LOS, Mesh networks, Wi-Fi, WiMax, as well as high tech security and surveillance projects. Responsible for sales nationwide, targeting WISPS, Universities, Electric Coops, Oil and Gas Companies, Government, and specialized projects. Grossed over $2.8 million in sales, with the average sale around $10,000. Completed Motorola’s, and Alvarion’s certification program. Brought on new vendors to grow the company’s product line. Grew my business through cold calling, customer visits, referrals and networking.
