Daily Duties at @Mobile.Com:

• Managed a group of about 70 employees including product management, engineering, and operations team. • As one of the 3 key executives from @mobile, played a key role in M&A process of $550M acquisition of the company by Software.com. Responsible for integration of the technical and operations team within the new company. • Successfully launched Mobile Gateway Product to receive internet content over SMS. The product was based on Java based application server and Apache web server. • Defined technology and product roadmap based on customer requirements and competitive analysis. • Led sales strategy for wireless messaging data platform to Tier 1 wireless customers. Launched the platform and application with GTE Wireless (now Verizon Wireless). • Put together a professional services team to grow revenues of the company and successfully met the targets. Won contracts with several Tier 2 wireless operators. • Awarded two patents on wireless instant messaging and SMS content delivery. • Managed partnership program to successfully partner with several internet companies such as Yahoo, Infospace and CMGI (Tribal voice). • Regularly met with several investment firms to present business plan and raise funds for the company in the startup mode.
