Daily Duties at Autodesk, Inc.:

• As a member of executive team, developed an overall strategy and execution plan including revenue targets. • Managed a global team of about 80 employees including Product Management, Product Development and Quality Assurance. The team members were located in different geographies including US, Canada, Russia and India. • Key member of M&A team and worked with the legal group and financial firm to complete the merger of the division with private equity firm. Lead the strategy for the new team structure to ensure smooth transition. • Successfully developed and launched several large scale enterprise and consumer applications such as Verizon Wireless Family Locator, Location Gateway, Sprint Mobile Locator and several other mobile applications. • Managed development across all product lines including AJAX based web interface, J2EE based application server, Oracle database and handset/mobile applications. Managed software architecture team to design a scalable architecture for supporting internal and 3rd party applications. • Responsible for all aspects of product management including competitive analysis, business case modeling, and developing product requirements for the software group. • Started engineering group in India to work on web technologies and system testing. Also, expanded the group in North America to build expertise in mobile software development across BREW, J2ME, Blackberry and Windows Mobile. • Worked with engineering managers to develop code review process, unit testing requirements and open communication with product management to avoid feature integration issues. • Developed QA strategy to invest in tools and simulators to gain efficiency during regression testing. Set goals for QA team to automate product testing year over year. • Presented at various industry events to promote the product and increased industry awareness about location services. Received media training for briefing with national reporters.
