Daily Duties at Lmi Aerospace:
Receive Raw Material skids. Inventory control of material. Determine cut sizes of metal to be cut per job and how many to get per sheet. Provide guidance to newer employees in area. Train newer employees in safe practices of handling and shipping of metal. Secure skids and crates to be shipped to customers. Build and repair skids and crates. Operate forklift and keep shear operator with metal to cut. Order shipping and packaging supplies for my area. Contact vendors and CSR about paperwork issues and answer their questions about operation in our area. Analyze work process for continuous improvement.
