Daily Duties at Cosmetic Essence, Incorporated:

Walk production lines to make sure proper product is running and adjust for capacity planning. Coordinate with Production Manager on run order and make necessary changes due to customer needs and production line efficiency's. Run daily production meeting. Coordinate with bulk planning to be sure QC has approved bulk for finished line production. Verify correct packaging is in house to run orders throughout the week. Supervise 20 Associate Planners. Adjust future orders in sytem according to customer needs, run MRP. Meet with Project Managers to go over future new launches. Attend customer meetings with sales and project managers to review time lines and introduce more realistic time lines for future new products. Negotiate with vendor and purchasing on acquiring raw materials and packaging for new products. Set lead times. Coordinate with QC on specs for new raw materials and setting mins/max and inventory levels.
