Daily Duties at Macys Merchandising Group:
Check daily sales and trend vs. forecast and make necessary adjustments. Check current inventory levels and increase or decrease orders. Check Macys.com to evaluate both lines above against online orders. Coordinate with vendors to be sure all product is shipped or ready to be shipped as needed. Do daily special objectives given by Vice President of Planning and Fulfillment. Supervise 2 Associate Planners. Create/adjust spreadsheets as needed.
