Daily Duties at Enterprise Rent A Car:
Managed and negotiated the acquisition of all new vehicle purchases for the Oregon operating group with an annual capital expenditure of over 52 million dollars. Led the forecasting of the Group’s yearly vehicle needs and developed a strategic fleet plan to accurately predict vehicle volume and delivery timing while maintaining budget and operating metrics. Executed, reevaluated and adjusted fleet plan to ensure compliance with the Group’s overall short-term and long-term goals. Analyzed and adjusted vehicle mixture and equipment level, balancing of the needs of the customer and the needs operating branches. Developed and maintained a strong relationship with over 50 dealers and suppliers in Oregon and SW Washington. Oversaw the ordering, tracking, titling, licensing and payment of all vehicle purchases. Managed day-to-day group vehicle logistics. Interacted with local city agencies regarding all Group vehicle parking or other violations to ensure compliance and to establish the company as a good citizen. Responsible for the contract compliance for all vehicles purchased under a manufacturers repurchase program; including the return process and collection of repurchase monies. Direct management of 4 full-time and 25 part-time employees
