Provided analytical leadership in the evaluation of all new car purchases for the company’s entire North American operations leveraging a multitude of analytics including: sales data,market performance, pricing, industry health, economic outlook, and manufacturer stability. Engaged Group Vehicle Acquisition management in process changes, optimal vehicle mixture and equipment level, problem solving, and communication improvements. Constantly searched for opportunities to maximize overall fleet mpg ratings, FlexFuel and hybrid availability, and EPA SmartWay compliance while balancing the companies operating needs. Responsible for companies vehicle ordering system; maintained accurate vehicle specifications, worked with manufactures to ensure data accuracy and editing compliance, and monitored vehicle status from ordering to delivery. Oversaw vehicle payment and incentive review to ensure accurate vehicle pricing and contract compliance. Ensured efficient capital expenditure and minimized interest expense by providing the Corporate Treasury department accurate vehicle costs. Solicited support and feedback from other departments regarding vehicle data storage. Monitored vehicle ordering status, providing daily support to group managers. Monitored group compliance to allocated vehicle volume, mixture and equipment requirements. Developed opportunities and cost savings by maintaining strong and lasting supplier and manufacturer relations. Prioritized and project-managed numerous corporate strategic initiatives through project lifecycle, including product development, launch, training and maintenance.
