Provided leadership for a team of 15 sales professionals, directing regional sales activities associated with business development, marketing, strategic planning, customer service and account management while maintaining accountability for driving revenue growth, increasing market share and improving customer retention. Promoted from the role of Wholesale Account Executive. Career Highlights: • Developed and coached a sales team responsible for territories within the states of WA, OR, ID, MT, CA and AK. Results: The region increased 350% in productivity from 2005 to 2008. • Designed a campaign with innovative marketing materials to reach the client base. Results: Led the country in sales for 3 of the 5 products, leading to a 213% increase in production in the first 70 days. • Served on Webster Bank’s Board of Technology; assisted in pioneering the design specification, implementation, roll-out and training of a new ¬¬¬¬¬Client Management & Processing software program that became the national platform. Results: Improved technology standards and increased operational efficiency across the country. • Developed and launched a new hiring strategy for sales personnel. Results: The sales team’s national standing climbed from #7(the lowest) to #2. • Awarded the President’s Club Award (top 5 sales producers nationally); the Chairman’s Club Award (top 5 revenue producers nationally); as well as attained the 3rd highest sales in the country.
