Daily Duties at Locum Tenens:

THE TWO LONGEST LOCUMS TEMNENS PLACEMENTS HAVE BEEN: A) ST ANTHONY'S REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, CARROLL, IOWA. SECONDARY TO A NEAR FATAL HEART PROBLEM---THE OTHER PSYCHIATRIST AT ST ANTHONY'S WAS NOT THERE WHEN I STARTED. THE START OF ST ANTHONY LOCUMS WAS 07-01-2008. I, ALONE PROVIDED ALL THE INPATIENT, OUTPATIENT, EMERGENCY PSYCHIATRY, AS WELL AS CONSULTATIVE PSYCHIATRY----SEVEN DAYS A WEEK----24 HOURS A DAY----WITH THE EXCEPTION OF APPROXIMATELY 20 DAYS. I LIVED IN THE HOSPITAL. THIS NON-STOP "ON DUTY" BEGAN ON 07-01-2008 AND ENDED ON 01-16-2009. B) BEGINING IN JULY 2009 I HAVE SERVED IN THREE SMALLER IOWA CITIES AS A TREATING PSYCHIATRIST FOR A "L.L.C." THAT SERVES THE INDIGENT AND NEAR INDIGENT. I AM READY FOR A DIFFERENT TYPE OF CHALLANGE. ONE WHERE I AM MY FULL PART OF A GOOD TEAM.
