Daily Duties at Cytec:

•Promoted in January 2009 to manage all staffing for Cytec Industries Inc., •Recruited for exempt level engineering positions which also included; scientist, chemist, functional positions within the corporate office and all management positions. Filling 30+ positions each month •Implemented a Global Staffing Strategy Plan and University Networking Guide to increase effectiveness of corporate recruiting efforts in the United Kingdom and the United States •Helped establish compliance through reporting, including information required by Sarbanes Oxley •Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and Executives on workforce needs, anticipated staffing results, new staffing initiatives and the hiring process. Resulted in hiring 300 new hires throughout 18 months within a small organization while saving the organization $1 million in recruiting dollars •Evaluate the effectiveness of staffing strategies and improve processes when necessary. Reduced cycle time from 90 days to less than 40 days on •Developed and analyzed staffing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, including cost-per-hire and time- to- fill; present findings to Human Resources and Business Unit executives. •Established beneficial relationships and negotiated contract terms with outside staffing firms and internet recruiting sources. Reduced costs by $500,000 in 2008 •Provided guidance to Global Operations Steering Committee, Executive Leaders, and other internal stakeholders related to building out CEM’s capabilities throughout the world•Ensured proactive participation in Affirmative Action Recruiting programs to facilitate the hiring or minorities, women, and ethnically diverse candidates •Developed and presented seminars on EEOC compliance, Affirmative Action and Sexual Harassment •Implemented Taleo globally and trained 40 colleagues on the talent management program •Provided by and large global Subject Matter Expertise within CEM internally and externally, including presenting vision and leadership of my team specific to area of expertise •Spearheaded the development and implementation of an innovative on-boarding program which resulted in a best-in-class program for the entire corporation
