Daily Duties at Morrisville Police Department:
As a Senior Police Investigator it is my job to serve as a support unit for the patrol division as well as investigate my own assignments. Primarily I am responsible for interviewing victims, witnesses, and informants. Secondly, I also conduct on-the-scene and follow-up investigations of crimes to gather factual evidence, secure criminal complaints and warrants for arrests as well as serve arrest and search warrants as required. Lastly, I testify and present evidence in court, and keep abreast on new crime trends/techniques and tools used in the investigation of crime and of changes in criminal law that may affect operations. management,
