Daily Duties at Grumman Technical Services:

Created Relational Database Bar Code Tracking System called the Production Tracking System (PTS) that tracked Line Replaceable Units through their repair cycle in the Intermediate Level Maintenance Facility (utilizing a bar code reader for input — resulting in a cost savings equal to hiring of 2 people and winning the highest award from my company – earning the Project Sterling award. My team also won the NASA Manned Flight Awareness Award for the upgrade of the Hardware and Software of the Production Tracking System that included the point-and-shoot selection and window dropdowns at a time before the development of the software that is prevalent today within Microsoft windows utilizing the software called DataFlex. Project Expert • Selected by management to enter a project near its ready for approval phase and identify what is missing in the project that can make or break a project. Result: Found the missing information to identify the quantity to purchase and completed it in record time saving millions of dollars in manpower and material in the process. Computer Engineer • Completed Software Development Life Cycle from idea to flowchart to code to testing to deployment many time and controlled any wildcat requests. Result: Saved millions in reducing re-engineering costs and downtimes.
