Daily Duties at Hughes Training Inc.:
Installed and Administered 4 Digital Alpha-400 Servers and a CD Tower consisting of 14 CD Drives. UOS NT 4.0 and 3.51 ApplicationsU-MS SQL Server 6.5, UInternet Information Server 4.0U, MS Access 97. System Apps-DNS, DCHP, WINS. UWEB PAGESU: associated links & graphics designed at HTUhttp://www.forscom.army.mil/interop/UTH. Installed and configured 3 classrooms by installing 50 student workstations (Win95) and 7 other computer systems (Win95). Also maintained, repaired and updated workstations with appropriate software. Maintained Instructor/Staff e-mail accounts with Exchange 4.0 Client Server Apps. Established Schedule+ instructions and procedures for Instructor/Staff Calendar Utilization. Wrote lessons utilizing Word 8.0 and PowerPoint 8.0 for utilization with Apollo Projectors. Conducted exhaustive Technical Reference Document inventory, consisting of over 2600 controlled documents. Instituted Technical Reference Library. Established Publication Accounts with the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, JCS and JIEO. Assisted in the development of Student Brochures & Testing Plans. Assisted in the Revision of the United States Message Text Formatting (USMTF) Basic Course. Implemented for the Division, a system for ordering Supplies through the GSA Catalog and provided a stockroom control system for storage of supplies. This was accomplished by the development of a FORM-FLOW application to be distributed over the Local Area Network
