Daily Duties at City Or Pontiac:
Prepared city of Pontiac for Audit. Including balancing their financial books, performing account and bank reconciliation, Prepared General Ledger to meet general acceptable accounting principles. Identified unacceptable accounting systems and recommend BANNER software Solution. Gathered Business needs and requirements, responsible for all client interaction and met deadlines. Performed the installation and implementation of BANNER software system in conjunction with SCT consultants. BANNER application was running on ORACLE 6i backend. Customized various BANNER interfaces including Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable Budget, Fixed Assets modules. Migrated from HOLLAND system to BANNER with minimal downtime Saved the city of Pontiac over 8 million dollars by providing conversion. Requisition to check payment turn around time went from 6 months to 4 weeks. Acted as the BANNER 2000 Subject Matter Expert. Responsible for 3rd level application support for BANNER. All unresolved help desk tickets were routed to me. Provided formal BANNER training for over 300 city of Pontiac employees.
