Daily Duties at Navopsptcen Helena:
Demonstrates proficiency and is responsible for maintaining accurate data in the following Navy websites: Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS); Navy Reserve Order Writing System (NROWS); Defense Travel System; Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS); Corporate Enterprise and Training Activity Resource System (CETARS); Catalog of Navy Training Courses; Enterprise Navy Training Reservation System (eNTRS); Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS); and CitiBank Electronic Access System. Implemented and enforced a training department policy for Selected Reservists which encompasses cost-and-mission-effective Annual Training, professional development, and adherence to Navy-wide training requirements. Directly responsible for NOSC Helena having the number one completion rate in every e-learning category within Navy Reserve Region Northwest for three years as well as a 93% completion rate on Annual Training. Ensured changes and expenses are in compliance with all federal regulations regarding travel-related expenses. Prior to submitting travel vouchers, examined that all applicable documents are included, including endorsed orders, itineraries, and applicable receipts. Ensured that lodging and rental car receipts are itemized and conducted training with personnel prior to travel to ensure that they are not accepting unauthorized and non-reimbursable charges. Reviewed all expenses and per diem claims to ensure that they are allowable and accurate according to regulations and other controlling guides. Maintained travel claims and liquidated vouchers on file and ensured timely submission of supplemental claims in the event of inaccurate payment.
