Daily Duties at Knowledge Data Systems:
Technical Manager/Project Leader for Order Communications project of the Patient Care Management System (PCMS), customized Order Communications to meet clients needs, installed the Order Communication system, approximately 15 servers and 30-40 requesters; On-call support of production systems; hired and trained programmers, managed programming resources, feasibility studies as well as other technical analysis, wrote project plans, tracked trouble reports, scheduled on-call support time; oversaw the development and programming efforts, interfaced with client and users directly to evaluate need and priority of projects; served on numerous committees e.g. Security Task Force, Vendor Committee, Applications Evaluation Committee etc. Environment: four processor, Cyclone, Guardian 90 C20, Pathway, SCOBOL, COBOL85, SQL and TMF.
