Responsibilities & Deliverables • Expansion/communication/administration of 14 separate benefit offerings & performing enrollment meetings • Negotiated with vendors annually to obtain the best benefit plans increasing participation while the company experienced only 9% increase since 1999. • Processed H1-B visa applications for corporate employees • Redesigned and rewrote the Employee Manual to standardize policies across the corporation • Investigated and resolve all employee relations issues including a variety of harassment based complaints • Successfully defended the company in EEOC and state labor board complaints through comprehensive documentation and effective written responses • Redesigned of 401(k) plan to increase effectiveness as employee retention tool & to increase participation • Coached Office Managers in effective hiring practices to decrease turnover by approximately 8% per month • Conducted extensive research to ensure legal compliance with federal and 23 state labor laws • Developed and published management training communications on legal aspects of discipline and termination • Served as consultant to Principals on organizational development, salary planning, and company expansion • Responsible for recruiting for all levels of the organization including non-exempt, exempt and executive • Assisted with corporate acquisitions and all corresponding due diligence work • Developed the organization’s first comprehensive compensation system • Developed the organization’s first training program for management • Developed performance management program for hourly and salary personnel
