Daily Duties at Cigna Insurance Group:

Ended 08/13/2004 Started 06/09/2003 Cigna Insurance Group Case Manager-Responsible for 8 large companies employees Short Term Disability (STD) with a client base of 35K. Built relationships with each client, working with their needs and situation while on STD. Managed each client by working closely with their medical physicians to assist and ensuring the clients are properly cared for. I managed each client so they could have a sound return-to-work program was established and maintained for as long as the employee was required by their physician. Duties consisted of: problem solving, managing paperwork with physician, monitor medical appointments with clients and document each response from the visit. Worked with Cigna nurses and physicians for direction with difficult cases, managed and process payments to clients.
