Ms. Lamb was the Laboratory Safety Coordinator for the University of Missouri-Rolla, Rolla, MO, from March 2001 to October 2003. She was also responsible for the development and implementation of a laboratory safety program for the campus. She developed a chemical and biological hygiene plan for the university; and conducted safety and internal Environmental Management System (EMS) audits. She determined the need for industrial hygiene monitoring and conducted needed testing and monitoring. She was part of the university's team for emergency response and incident investigation. Her other responsibilities included hazardous waste determination, third party waste contractor audits, personnel training, and safety equipment testing. She also served as the chemical inventory manager and the university Biological Safety Officer.
