Daily Duties at Advancia Corp.:

Ms. Lamb is an experienced environmental health and safety manager/military analyst and worked for Advancia Corporation in that capacity for over three years. As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, Ms. Lamb reviewed and analyzed federal, state and local environmental and safety laws, permits, and regulations to ensure client compliance. She conducted an extensive review of the training impacts resulting from new PM 2.5 regulations on the Army’s ability to complete its training mission. The results were eventually reported to Congress. She has extensive background in Hazardous Waste Management (RCRA, CERCLA). She is a trained policy analyst and has experience in policy/program development and implementation. Additionally, Melanie reviewed existing training material to insure that up-to-date environmental health and safety requirements were included for future instruction. Ms. Lamb also developed environmental educational and training projects, products, requirements, and programs of instruction. Types of training products and programs developed included computer-based training, programs of instruction, visual aids, job aids, lesson plans, handbooks, and other training support materials. She has extensive experience in teaching and training personnel at all skill levels. Ms. Lamb also served as the Project Lead for several contracts and the Task Order Manager for five contracts. She was responsible for all liaisons with the client, conducting training, reporting the status of the contract, review of deliverables, and performing overall management of the projects and contracts. She is experienced in proposal development and contract management. She developed and began implementation of Advancia’s corporate Quality Management System and is an experienced Lead auditor for both QMS and EMS.
