Daily Duties at Alta Analytical Laboratory:
Guide the efforts of a Senior Scientist, Project Manager, 2 Associate Project Managers, and 3 chemists while managing an annual budget of more than $3M and serving as the company’s strategic liaison to 13 large and small Pharma clients. Drove new business development by hosting client visits, visiting client sites, and presenting capabilities, services, and scientific knowledge to clients and staff. Guided the investigation of GLP and clinical bio-analytical sample analysis and reporting aligned with strict requirements related to timelines, regulatory compliance, data quality, and revenue goals. Conducted method development and validation of small molecule LC-MS/MS assays. Enabled the win of 10 new contracts with a 40% profit margin. Launched a new business group providing clinical supply and cold chain logistics services. Led business development initiatives that generated $3M in revenue by improving service and opening 4 new accounts.
