Daily Duties at Catholic Community Services:
Day to day operation of 2 Child Care Centers with permits for over 240 children. Budgets, staffing, Appraisals, Policies & Procedures, Fundraising, and Grant Proposals. Continuous Public Relations with City, County and Federal Officials to comply with licenses and mandates. Administered over $1M in Head Start Funds, Local Grants and Private Gifts. Proactively worked with external agencies to convene and increase resources. Key Accomplishments: • Orchestrated the merger of 2 Child Care Centers while closing them for only one week, encompassing meetings, obtaining bids, attaining city & county permits, relocation of portable classrooms, moving company, Construction Company, certificates of occupancy, and many volunteers. • Secured over $3M for the merger and operation of the Centers through Fundraising, and Grant awards.
