Daily Duties at Dyn Corp International:
• Prepare cost Estimate for Military camps in Afghanistan, Iraq, Algeria, Sudan • On The Design/Build process basis. • Developed independent cost estimates; quantities take offs to support Corps of Engineers change orders, project acceleration, Logistics and time extensions. • Initiated & managed a government site with relation to civil/site works, architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical and plumbing. • Prepared cost estimates in CSI format all 42 divisions under the Excel program and UNIFORMAT 12 DIVISION + SITE WORK. • Reviewed preliminary drawings and specifications. • Gathered information on access to the site and the availability of electricity, water, and other services, as well as on surface topography and drainage. • Determined the quantity of materials and labor the firm needed. • Completed quantity survey or “takeoff,” which involved completing standard estimating forms, filling in dimensions, numbers of units, and other information. • Used Software such as Excel, Success, and Winest etc. • Final estimates were made in CSI format (all 42 divisions) • Ensured that the Kunduz and Jalabad projects were in accordance with design drawings, specifications, schedules, contract funding, and procedures.
