Daily Duties at Jpi:
Assisted in overseeing the development of over 1,200 multi-family units and 70,000sf of retail space including for-sale condominiums, luxury rental apartments and townhouses. Duties included site selection, acquisition, financial analysis, pre-development activities, construction management and disposition of completed asset. o Oversaw development and project costs of The Clara Barton condominiums in Washington, DC., a historic mixed-use property consisting of 428 luxury condominiums; a live-action theater; 35,000sf retail space including a gourmet grocery store and four levels of underground parking. Negotiated retail tenant leases and coordinated tenant improvements, interfaced with the General Services Administration to coordinate the Clara Barton Museum and directed the consultant and construction teams. o Assisted in overseeing the development of 6 luxury garden, mid-rise and high-rise multi-family communities, totaling over 800 apartment homes o Managed successful re-zoning effort of mixed-use community in Prince William County, VA o Monitored trends in real estate development in 5 major markets, developed models predicting future rent growth and occupancy and used GIS to help find available land and determine strong submarkets
