Daily Duties at Ibm:
Project manager for a major insurance client to replace IBM z900 mainframes with z10 processors. This project also involves upgrading their tape and disk storage devices with newer technology. Due to government regulations, we are installing encryption technology so that all future tape output will be encrypted. All tape and disk operations will continue to be mirrored over high speed OC12 links to their disaster recovery hot site so the DR site will be upgraded with duplicate disk and tape hardware.
