Check image capture project: Under the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act banks have the option of scanning check images and transmitting them to the banks against which they're drawn. Banks and processors currently pay couriers to haul checks across town or across the country to the paying banks. Once the images have been captured at the point of deposit, the original paper checks will be destroyed. Project tasks and responsibilities included; the production of an agenda for each weekly planning meeting, alignment of the project within the objectives of the project, scheduling meetings for both the internal team and the internal customer, and with vendors. I documented minutes of project meetings, produced organization charts for the project, detailed roles within each project, and provided all necessary contact information. I reviewed functional requirement specifications with Business Analysts and Quality Analysts to ensure project alignment within the project objectives. Prepared project plans, scope statements, tracked budgets, change management, issue management, risk management. Managed the complete software development cycle from initial concept and design through final implementation and launch while ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy. Prepared project charter, work plan and resource plan/requirements according to PMI standards.
