Daily Duties at Large Electronics Manufacturer:
Project manager for replacement of company’s IBM host attached printers. This project was undertaken to upgrade all of the outdated printer technology to Ethernet LAN attached devices which can print IBM host data such as checks and invoices and PC based applications. Printer sharing between IBM host and PC eliminates the need to have dedicated printers and saves money. Project required preparing a complete inventory of printers and working closely with business analysts and lines-of-business owners to coordinate testing, training, and cutover schedules.
