Daily Duties at Fulton County School System:
In addition to the typical roles and responsibilities of a classroom teacher, I assumed the following roles and responsibilities during my tenure with Fulton County Schools: Co-Chair of School Strategic Plan Committee; Lead Facilitator for the School Technology and Strategic Planning Committees. Contributed reflective research, Instructional Technology lessons, and teacher training as a Lead 21st Century Teacher for the State of Georgia’s "21st Century Model Learning Environment" program. Coordinated technology training sessions for all school personnel, PTA members, and substitute teachers. Mentored teachers and administrators in the utilization of best practices for technology integration and optimization. Provided technology support to colleagues and students. Analyzed and interpreted standardized test data through graphical representation for school administration (compared school performance to county, state and national performance). Developed data collection profiles designed to track individual student progress for grades K-2. Supervised student interns; provided developmental plans and productive feedback on performance.
