Daily Duties at Shoes For Crews:

• Main support for Windows 2000/XP, Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server, and Linux machines • Troubleshot MS Office including all Outlook issues, server support, Active Directory (group policies, add/delete users, and password resets), XP/Vista/Windows 7, imaging and printer support for the various locations and approximately 400 users. • Oversaw laptop deployment and configuration for sales team • Document recommended system upgrades, software installations, and configuration information for programs. • Research and resolve all technical problems that cannot be resolved by tier 1 and 2 technicians • Maintain Backups of mission critical servers using Backup Exec software • Configured and installed POS laptops for Las Vegas and Orlando sites’ mobile trucks • Oversaw configuration and deployment of Mac G5 machines for the Graphics department • Sole administrator, help desk, and consultant for Mac OS X Snow Leopard server and workstations for the in-house Marketing and Graphics departments • Lead project manager for deploying software and hardware • Administrate and maintain health of WSUS server • Responsible for planning, testing, and deployment of Wyse and HP Thin Client Terminals, Microsoft, and printer/copier solutions through a Windows 2000/XP/Vista environment • Provide support for SQL Server 2000/2003/2008 • Installed, configured, and maintained FTP Server and served as FTP Server Administrator • Remote Installation Services Server Administrator • Troubleshoot any problems related with the Cisco router • Installed and configured Exchange 2003 Server. • Created solutions to user problems within certain applications. • Administrate, installed, and configured web servers and IIS • Responsible for servers and computers in Las Vegas location for remote access • Assisted in configuration of Citrix Server and UPS/FedEx Shipping Server Administrator • Installed and configured terminals, computers, SonicWALL firewall, and Cisco routers on the network in the California warehouse • Responsible for configuration and deployment of computers, terminals, and copiers for the Las Vegas office • Assisted in the creation of the company Intranet • Assisted with the set up and configuration of HP Storage Area Network System • Assisted the phone administrator with installation and configuration of the Mitel VOIP Phone System • Created and configured WDS/RIS Server for deployment of computer images • Train any new hires to the IT department on policy, procedure, and job related specifics • Train users on new software and provide support for the software • Some Visual Studio.NET 2008 experience in C# and Visual Basic.NET
