Responsibilities included but not limited to ensuring inventory levels consistent with economic indicators, utilizing depot stock, and liquidating excess inventory Purchased aluminum extrusions, brass tubing, valued at 8-10 million dollars Maintain and right size inventory to current economic conditions Implemented program to utilize depot stock Tasked to handle brass rod from 12-1-00 through 04-01-01, liquidated 780,000#s in excess inventory, created $380,000 of purchase price variance, added $1,000,000 million dollars to the bottom line
