Responsible for effective management of 23 associates while implementing Process Improvements utilizing Lean Manufacturing Concepts • Managed machining procurement • Managed raw material procurement • Initiated and streamlined dock to stock procedures • Initiated material changes to reduce costs • Administered the procurement of all machined parts ABL program $600,000 dollars • Crossed trained in product manager, and material manager positions • Utilized Value Stream Mapping • Purchasing Lean Leader • Managed point of use We defined standard work with Senior Buyers, Buyers, and Planners input We measured prior to implementation our OTD at 88-90% We analyzed the improvement and its affect The improvement was made in our efficiency and it reflected a positive result of 3 to 5% percentage points. The controlling of our process improved our OTD from 91 to 95% We sustained the improvement by measuring weekly to maintain the improvement
