Tasked with supporting a 3-member kiosk platform service team in processing service solutions and improving profitability on an installed base of over 20,000 products. Performed serviceability and safety reviews for all products, estimated service costs and evaluated contract profitability, worked with marketing team on customer presentations, and implemented service readiness on won contracts. * Served as subject matter expert for bid advisors, marketing specialist, and account teams, delivering advice on complex customer requests for information and prices (RFI and RFP). * Developed quality assurance processes for accurate statements of work in contracts that reduced the cost of service calls and increased profit. * Reduced service costs by improving the operators’ guide, increasing contract compliance, and decreasing service calls. * Decreased bid processing time by developing bid principles for maintenance sales specialist to understand and better market services, enhancing customer response time. * Reduced education development cost for kiosks 73%, from $20,000 to $5,400 per configuration, by creating a CD quick reference guide with a menu-driven collection of all maintenance manuals to replace an expensive video training course. * Researched and introduced tools to reduce service time on diagnosing cable problems from hours to minutes, thus reducing service cost and increasing profits.
