Daily Duties at Dtr Industries:

Directly manage all HR matters for 350 associates and 18 Group Leaders (supervisors) on third shift. In addition, an active member of a HR team that supports 850 associates on three different shifts. • Working knowledge of Human Resources’ aspects: FMLA, COBRA, Benefits, HIPPA, 401K, Worker’s Compensation and Wellness • Maintained documentation for 350 associates including but not limited to FMLA, Short Term Disability, attendance • Documented all investigative findings associated with employee relations. While also administering all levels of disciplinary actions towards associates up to and including termination. • Shared responsibilities for interviewing, hiring, training and orientating new hires • Developed job descriptions and hiring/employment procedures.
