Daily Duties at Prize4 Life, Inc.:
Challenged CEO and Board to grow from an exclusively “venture capital” model with a few, major gift donors to an “initial public offering” model incorporating many more donors at various gift levels while continuing to steward/cultivate the initial venture philanthropists who funded the start-up. Energized growing donor base through introduction of timely donor communication and stewardship program. Together with staff team, launched program to engage donor and advocacy communities through integrated use of “high-tech” and “high-touch” methods, including blog posts, social networking, tweets, personalized correspondence and face-to-face visits and presentations. Championed the organization’s mission as featured speaker at fund-raising/friend-raising events (on one occasion, four in one evening!). Mapped Board member attributes and guided Board development efforts, including revised committee structure and cultivation and solicitation of new Directors.
