Daily Duties at Bbdo:
Contributed to desktop team supporting 900+ PC and MAC users in New York advertising agency. Held responsibility for lease renewals as well as extracting and deploying computers. Repaired and upgraded desktops, and servers as well as Cisco routers and switches. Troubleshot, installed and upgraded software. Planned implementation of desktop services via scripting. Trained staff on and troubleshot Avaya phone system. Managed backup tape library for offsite data protection. Built and deployed custom Windows XP SP3 & OS 10.5 images with pre-configured applications and Active Directory “Single Sign On” capabilities via Symantec Ghost and Apple NetBoot servers. Reduced man hours and cost on system builds. Implemented and deployed new Extensis Universal Type Server. Built anti-virus server for OS X workstations with automated updates. Reduced purchase costs and decreased theft. Designed and implemented tracking system for loaner equipment in New York office, reducing theft and company costs. Automated CS4 network deployment to 200+ Macintosh workstations, reducing man hours and costs. Oversaw staff of two Level I technical support analysts.
