Daily Duties at Newton Memorial Hospital:
System Manager: (1998 – 2001) Managed a four node VMS Classic Cluster Responsible for all Cerner code upgrades, including Y2K. Responsible for the OS migration of all our Classic applications from VAX to Alpha. Implemented V400 and oversaw two Oracle upgrades during its life cycle. Managed two VMS upgrades one on our VAX platform, and two on our Alpha platform. Managed Classic Operations. Wrote all CCL’s for our Classic Pharmnet, Radnet, Pathnet, Pronet, and Mednet. Perform Controller upgrades from HSJ40 to HSJ50. Responsible for All backup and recovery. Managed the Pathnet replacement Analyst.
