Daily Duties at Newton Memorial Hospital:
Clinical Application Manager: (2001 - JAN 2008) (HNAC) Manage a group of six Application analysts, provide mentoring, and performance reviews. Project oversight for our 1st phase migration of Cerner Classic Application to Millennium. Perform all DBA functions with regard to our V400 and Millennium domains. System manager of a two VMS Clusters (alpha 2100’s and ES40’s). Manage all print services within Millennium and Classic, including LAT configured devices. Migrated 50% of our LAT MDI’s to TCPIP. Application manager for our BMC monitoring software. Negotiated large contracts during three purchase cycles with Cerner. Implemented High Availability (Failover) services on our Millennium cluster. Write the majority of our CCL’s for our Classic/Millennium applications. Manage all annual support contracts with Cerner. At the 2003 Cerner Healthcare Conference did a two-hour presentation on our 1st phase migration to Millennium.
