Daily Duties at Flight Centre Ltd:
• Preparation of monthly and yearly Profit and Loss statements for the areas shops and support accounts. • Preparation of a Consolidated Profit and Loss statement for the area. • Reconciling Asset Register and all line items in Balance Sheet on monthly and yearly basis. • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns on yearly basis for the area. • Preparation of a monthly management report, which is a financial analysis of the area presented to the Area Leader. • Preparation & presentation of monthly scorecards on shop levels to shop managers & consolidated area scorecard to Operational Area Leader • Preparation of biannual shop and support account Budgets • Bank Reconciliations and internal audits on the shop trust accounts on a rotational basis. Shops were visited and updated every 6 weeks. • Training of all financial systems and processes during audits and through structured courses directed at novice consultants, assistant managers and managers. • Updating and maintaining all licensing and administration of the areas shops. • Participation and contribution to area, state and nation conferences and monthly area awards nights.
