Daily Duties at Williams Lea Americas, Inc:
I have had full responsibility and leadership for Sourcing, Purchasing, Contract Management and Finance for over 10 years. I have been the single point of contact for Procurement issues in the US. I was integral in identifying supply chain inefficiencies and creating the workflow used for major clients that helped reduce turn-around-times for build-to-order processes. This supply chain process I created was used to provide more accurate quotes and reduce latencies. In addition; my effective demand planning provided significant benefits, including: • More profitable linking of pricing, promotions and other sales incentives. • Better informed supply-chain decisions as a result of more accurate data regarding customer demand. • More efficient and predictable use of plant capacity, equipment, and labor; and • Better understanding of customer needs so that manufacturers and distributors could improve products, deliveries, and satisfaction. I managed all contracts within the US and UK. I worked with legal to determine accuracy and amendments of contracts to benefit my company and to make sure we were compliant with all our licenses and upcoming renewals to keep us legal. I also managed the logistics contracts that were for transportation systems and Department of Defense.
